Longhorn Halloween scheduled for Oct. 28

Longhorn Halloween, billed as a fun and safe Halloween program for the children of University of Texas at Austin staff, faculty and students, takes place from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Frank Erwin Center.

There will be numerous activities for children of all ages, including fire safety demonstrations, face painting, slime making, moon walks, fishing games, pumpkin decorating contests, a real police car and fire truck, a haunted house, a physics circus and more.

Entertainment will be provided by the Ransom Notes, Ballet Folklorico, Charlie the Clown and the Texas Juggling Association.

Candy prizes will be awarded at all booths.
