We’ve changed our name!
We’re proud to announce our recent name change to University Operations. Our vice-presidential portfolio was formerly known as Employee and Campus Services, but we decided to make the switch to University Operations because it’s less of a mouthful and better describes who we are. We hope you like our new name, and we welcome you to explore our redesigned Web site.
Landmarks public art program moves into phase II
The university installed twelve additional sculptures on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in January, 2009. University Operations is cosponsoring the Landmarks public art program.
Construction updates now available online
Thanks to a joint effort between Campus Planning and Technology Resources for Employee and Campus Services, you can now find information about central-campus construction projects online. View the construction advisory for central campus.
University Operations celebrates the university’s first green building
The Research Office Complex is the first building in the University of Texas System to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
You can make the university community recycling champions!
General Services hopes the university will set recycling records in 07-08 and wants University Operations staff members to get involved.
