How do I access the Office 2007 Help?
Pressing F1 on your keyboard or clicking the 
Microsoft Office Program Name Help Button will get you to the help documentation.
What happened to the File menu?
The File menu has been replaced with the 
Microsoft Office Button
If I have Visio 2003 or Project 2003, what will happen to those products when Microsoft office is upgraded?
Those applications will not be affected by the upgrade. They will remain intact.
Is there a new file format? For example, will Microsoft Word 2007 documents end in .doc?
The new formats are indicated by an “x” in the file extension. In Office 2007, the new extensions are:
- Word documents: .docx
- Excel workbooks: .xlsx
- PowerPoint presentations: .pptx
How do I save my Office 2007 documents as Office 2003 documents?
For example, in Microsoft Word, to save files in the old format by default, click the Office button, then the Options button, and select Save in the left pane. Choose Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc) from the Save Files In This Format drop-down list.
I use Adobe Professional version, will this product be affected by the upgrade?
The Adobe “print” icon stops working in some of the MS Office applications after the upgrade.
Outlook is prompting me to install Windows Desktop Search; should I install it?
Windows Desktop search should not be installed when prompted to do so.
