Blanca Juarez, MPA
Alternative Transportation Manager

Blanca has been employed with PTS for over six years, beginning her career with the department as a student associate for events. She graduated with a degree from UT in Advertising and has received her Masters in Public Administration and Urban and Environmental Planning from Texas State. She coordinates all the alternative transportation programs on campus from shuttles to carpools and is working on implementing other sustainable programs on campus that would benefit the UT community as well as the city.

Samuel Cortez, B.A.
Bike Coordinator

Sam coordinates the university's bicycle program. He works closely with other departments and the community as a whole to make UT a more bicycle friendly campus. From maintaining the bicycle registration program, operating the university bicycle shop "The Kickstand" to developing plans for new and existing bicycle infrastructure, he strives to create a more viable sustainable mode of transportation for all users.
