Appeals/Citations
The University of Texas at Austin has approximately
70,000 students, faculty, and staff. On campus, we have
about 14,000 parking spaces, including all surface lots
and garages. Because of this great disparity between
people and parking spaces, Parking and Transportation
Services has established the Parking
and Traffic Rules and Regulations so that people
who pay for a permit can actually park in their assigned
lot or garage.
Any one that violates these rules may
be issued a citation. By following these
simple guidelines, all citations can be avoided.
