Eligibility requirements

You must be a current RecSports member

 
“E” Permit (Exercise Permit)

• $108 annually; fee prorated monthly
  

Where can I park, with the “E” permit, if I want to work out before 8 a.m. weekdays?

• In designated spaces along San Jacinto from 21st Street south toward MLK.
• Manor Garage, located east of the stadium
• Trinity Garage, on the corner of MLK and Trinity
  

Where can I park, with the “E” permit weekdays from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.?

• Manor Garage, located east of the stadium
• Trinity Garage, on the corner of MLK and Trinity

Where can I park, with the “E” permit after 4 p.m. weekdays?

• In F11 spaces (except "F11 AT ALL TIMES" spaces)
• In designated spaces along San Jacinto from 21st Street south toward MLK.
• Manor Garage, located east of the stadium
• Trinity Garage, on the corner of MLK and Trinity

Where can I park, with the “E” permit after 5 p.m. on weekdays and weekends?

• In F11 spaces (except "F11 AT ALL TIMES" spaces)
• In designated spaces along San Jacinto from 21st Street south toward MLK.
• Manor Garage, located east of the stadium
• Trinity Garage, on the corner of MLK and Trinity
• Brazos Garage located south of Jester.

Please note: Possession of an “E” permit and/or garage access card allows an individual to park on a space-available basis in surface lots and parking garages. It does not reserve or guarantee a parking space.

Where to purchase:
Parking and Transportation Services office
Located in the Trinity Garage at the corner of MLK & Trinity streets (across the street from the Jamail Texas Swimming Center).

Parking and Transportation Office hours:
Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Members must present a current RecSports photo ID card to verify eligibility to purchase the “E” permit. All other questions concerning “E” permits should be directed to Parking and Transportation at (512) 471-7275 or parking@www.utexas.edu.

 
Special Garage Evening Parking Rate
 
All garage parking (except the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center Garage) is $3 for all tickets pulled after 5:45 p.m. – additional fees may be charged for special events.

 
UT Share Pass (Garage Debit Card)
 
May be purchased from any university parking garage. Members must present a current RecSports membership to verify eligibility. Initial purchase is $20 minimum. After initial purchase, the card may be recharged. The card has no expiration date. Each time the card is used at Manor Garage (east of stadium) or Trinity Garage (at Trinity & MLK), a total of $3 will be deducted from the debit card. At all other garages, a total of $6 will be deducted from the card at each entry. The UT Share Pass may not be used at the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center.
