CR Cameron Road — UT Shuttle route. Get off the bus at Cameron and Broadmoor, and you are on the back side of Capital Plaza, home to a Target, Ross, Office Depot and Fashion Bug, among others!
Then for a Walmart, the best option is to take any bus downtown (the #7 on San Jacinto, the #5 or #1 on Guadalupe, the #10 by the Erwin Center). Take the bus to the Capitol. From there, get on the southbound route 14-Travis Heights. This bus goes to the Walmart at Ben White, near Congress Avenue.
