24th Annual Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Update

This two-day activity is approved for 1.5 CEUs (15 contact hours) of continuing pharmacy education credit. In order to receive 15 contact hours of CPE credit, pharmacists must participate in all educational sessions of the program, and return their completed Record of Attendance/Evaluation at the conclusion of the program. The UT Health Science Center San Antonio School of Medicine is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The UT Health Science Center San Antonio School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nursing contact hours have been applied for through the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Successful completion of the activity is defined as participation in the educational session/activities along with the return of a completed attendance/evaluation form.
Certification Renewal: Both ACPE and ACCME approved contact hours are accepted for ANCC Certification Renewal and are specifically listed as approved credit types. As quoted on the ANCC website: "Other health disciplines' continuing education hours may be used if the content is applicable to your area of certification.
Advanced Practice Nurses: Advanced practice nurse practitioners may use CME credits toward license renewal and recertification. CME credits are not accepted for license renewal of non-advanced practice RN's or LVN's.
This event is sponsored through the Department of Behavioral Medicine, Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). Department of Behavioral Medicine, BAMC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. DBM, BAMC maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This two-day activity is approved for 1.5 CEUs (15 contact hours) of continuing pharmacy education credit. In order to receive 15 contact hours of CPE credit, psychologists must participate in all educational sessions of the program, and must complete the Sign In & Out Roster and Evaluation.
The Professional Development Program at the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work is a CEU provider for the licenses listed below. If you are licensed from outside of Texas, please check with your state licensing board to confirm that the conference sessions meet your state's continuing education requirements. *See conference Agenda for (*) designated sessions that are accredited for social workers to earn a total of 7.0 contact hours of continuing education.
