The Pharmacy Alumni Association sponsored an Austin spring alumni gathering on May 2. The Big Lebowski Bowling Party at Austin's Dart Bowl included bowling, feasting on the Dart Bowl's famous enchiladas, and time for socializing and fun with Dean Lynn Crismon as well as fellow alumni and friends.
The event was a salute to the 1998 comedy film, The Big Lebowski. The film has been pegged as "the first cult film of the Internet era." Attendees were encouraged to wear "Big Lebowski" costumes for the event.
