The College of Pharmacy Development Office hosts numerous special events throughout the year to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and faculty, as well as engage our alumni and friends in supporting the advancement of the College and its programs. Some events are hosted in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy Alumni Association, the Office of the Vice President for Development and other organizations. College of Pharmacy Scholarship Dinner
The College of Pharmacy hosts an annual scholarship dinner during which donors or representatives of undergraduate and graduate endowments are recognized. Student recipients and endowment donors are invited to attend. At the dinner held on February 21,2008, over 100 donors and recipients mingled while enjoying a lovely meal at the University's Campus Club.

College of Pharmacy Advisory Council Meeting
The University of Texas Pharmaceutical Advisory Council is comprised of distinguished alumni and leaders from all aspects of the professional of pharmacy who volunteer their time and expertise to advance the College of Pharmacy. The Council meets twice annually to advise the College on issues of importance to the future of pharmaceutical research and education. The Council also serves as the guiding force for College fundraising efforts. The spring meeting is set for March 6th and 7th.

Pharmacy Alumni Association Annual Dinner
Each summer, in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Texas Pharmacy Association, the College of Pharmacy Alumni Association hosts an annual dinner for alumni and friends. The event is open to all alumni and their guests. This year’s event will be held on July 17th at a location to be determined. Etiquette Dinner
Each year, the Development and Alumni Affairs Office coordinates an etiquette dinner to orient our P3 students to the manners and behavior appropriate in business meetings and formal events. Staff and faculty volunteers from the College of Pharmacy will serve as table monitors and coach the students during the dinner. This fun and entertaining event has proven to be very helpful to our students. 

Legends of Pharmacy Open
We are excited to host the Legends of Pharmacy Golf Tournament at the Avery Ranch Golf Club October 24,2008. Proceeds from the annual golf tournament benefit the Student Professional Development Endowment. This fund gives students the opportunity to travel to important regional and national conferences and meetings. The Legends of Pharmacy Open presents an excellent opportunity to network and have fun with your pharmacy colleagues while meeting students who benefit from this event. Pharmacy Alumni Association Homecoming
The 2008 Pharmacy Alumni Association Homecoming will be October 25,2008 at a location to be determined. This year’s reunion events will be held for members of the classes of 1958, 1968, 1978, 1988, and 1998. Reunion weekend provides a great opportunity for pharmacy alumni and their families to catch up with former classmates, reminisce about their days at the University, and enjoy great fun at the UT Club.
