Dripping Springs Pharmacy and Compounding center is an innovative, independent compounding pharmacy located at the gateway to the Texas hill country, just 12 miles West of Austin, Texas on U.S. Highway 290. We serve Travis, Hays, Blanco and surrounding counties.

We use the latest technology for quality control, precision compounding and accurate dispensing of medication.  We've found that the advanced technology of robotics reduces staff stress and helps organize workflow.  We maintain a USP 797 compliant clean room offering sterile products made to order for each individual patient. To determine patient needs, a close relationship between patient, physician and pharmacist is paramount.  We work closely with physicians to help find solutions to individual health care challenges.

Our business is dedicated to providing the best medical services to the folks in Dripping Springs and surrounding areas.  Our focus is on wellness and prevention by education.  We are offering our patients educational tools, as well as our expertise, and support to live well and stay well.

The Dripping Springs Pharmacy and Compounding Center /University of Texas College of Pharmacy Community Pharmacy Residency Program (CPRP) is dedicated to developing compassionate, confident, clinical providers of advanced patient care services in a community pharmacy setting.  The program will equip the resident to:

  • Provide direct patient care to diverse populations
  • Engage in collaborations with physicians and other health care providers
  • Serve as a role model and be able to educate pharmacy students and providers
  • Manage and develop viable new advanced patient care programs that are economically feasible
  • Provide leadership for advancing the practice of community pharmacy and the profession
  • Serve as an educator for health/wellness and disease prevention for the community
  • Lead and manage a successful independent community pharmacy that provides dispensing and clinical services

The Dripping Springs Pharmacy and Compounding Center/University of Texas College of Pharmacy Community Pharmacy Residency Program (CPRP) is an emerging residency program that will be seeking accreditation by ASHP in cooperation with APhA and also follows NCPA Guidelines for a Community Pharmacy Practice Residency.
