Biographical Information
Dr. McIntyre earned his B.S. in pharmacy (1982) and his Pharm.D. (1988) from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. He completed a pharmacy residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Mich. (1982-83), a clinical residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center (1987-1989), and a fellowship in cancer immunology from the UT Austin College of Pharmacy and University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (1991-1993). McIntyre provides leadership for clinical and pharmacy practice program development, post-Pharm.D. clinical training programs, and the Pharm.D. experiential program. In addition, he serves as the administrative liaison to the cooperative pharmacy programs with UTPA and the University of Texas at El Paso. He also serves as a critical administrative liaison in interactions with other academic health units on the UT Austin, UTHSCSA, and UT Southwestern campuses as well as with major health care provider institutions. | ||
