Research Interests

Jennifer Ridings-Myhra is the assistant dean for experiential and professional affairs at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. In this capacity, she oversees the state-wide senior internship program. This particular responsibility involves the supervision of 28 regional faculty members, approximately 125 students per year on internship, and more than 700 practitioner-faculty (preceptors) in seven internship areas of the state.

In addition to directing the state-wide internship program, Ms. Ridings-Myhra also supervises placement activities for senior students, serves as an academic advisor to pharmacy students (specifically those on academic probation), serves as faculty advisor to Kappa Epsilon professional pharmacy fraternity, and lectures in several pharmacy courses. She also establishes and implements college financial aid policies with the UT Office of Student Financial Services, and supervises the distribution of close to $200,000 in scholarship funding annually to pharmacy students.

Among her other activities, Ms. Ridings-Myhra is the secretary to the Texas Pharmacy Congress, and serves as a liaison between the college and local, state, and national pharmacy organizations.
