Assessment

In the UT College of Pharmacy, the Program Assessment Team is responsible for the assessment of the professional (Pharm.D.) program, and the committee was formed in 2002 following the AACP Institute workshop to develop appropriate program assessment structures in colleges/schools of pharmacy.

The Program Assessment Team has two functions: 1) to conduct continual monitoring and assessment of the professional (Pharm.D.) program and 2) to facilitate and support self-study committees in their assessment of compliance with ACPE accreditation standards.

Committee Membership

Assessment in the College of Pharmacy requires the input of a number of important stakeholders, including faculty members, administrators, and students:

3. Medicinal Chemistry faculty member
4. Pharmaceutics faculty member
5. Pharmacology & Toxicology faculty member
6. Pharmacotherapy faculty member
7. Pharmacy Administration faculty member
8. Pharmacy Practice faculty member
9. P1 student
10. P2 student
11. P3 student
12. P4 student

The College may also consult appropriate individuals within the UT Center for Teaching and Learning as well as the Assessment Coordinators Network across campus for assistance with assessment-related issues.
