1980s
Thomas Hardin, '80, Pharm.D., of San Antonio, has been named the 2001 Alumnus of the Year for the Ole Miss School of Pharmacy where he received his undergraduate pharmacy degree. A former member of the UT Austin pharmacy faculty, Hardin is currently a scientific liaison with OrthoMcNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc.

1990s
Brandon Ross, '91, and Judith Levinski Ross, '94, welcomed a son, Truman Harrison Ross, on Jan. 24, 2002. He weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches at birth. The family makes its home in San Antonio.

Angela Cheng Chen, '94, and husband Robin welcomed Anthony Joseph Chen to their family on Jan. 14, 2002. Baby Anthony, who shares the same birthday as his mom, weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and measured 20.25 inches at birth.

2000s
Sis Ueng, Jessica Ponder, and Leigh Ann Kipley, all Pharm.D. '01, were recognized for their clinical skills at the Annual Meeting of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Ueng and Ponder were awarded a first place among residents, while Kipley was honored with second place. All three work at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Reunion Calendar

Classes of 1962, 1972, and 1982
Reunion activities for these classes are scheduled for the weekend of September 13-15, 2002 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Postgraduate Pharmacy Seminar.

Class of 1992
The 10-year reunion of the Class of 1992 as well as the December 1991 Class is scheduled for the weekend of October 19, 2002.

Details for the reunions should come to class members via U.S. mail early this summer. Look for details also in the Summer issue of Longhorn Pharmacy Focus.

Pharmacy Tailgate Party is Oct. 5 at the UT Alumni Center prior to the UT vs. Oklahoma State University football game.
