Five Named Recipients of Excellence Awards

Five members of the College staff were honored in June as recipients of the annual staff excellence awards.

The awards were made at the annual staff recognition reception. Each award recipient received a framed certificate and a $1,000 cash award.
Honorees include:

• Sharla Brewer, administrative associate in the Dean’s Office
• Bertha Castro-Ugalde, administrative associate in pharmacy practice
• Iris Jennings, administrative associate in pharmacy administration
• Jane Mockford, senior systems analyst in the Dean’s Office, and
• Nicole Toomey, administrative associate in the Learning Resource Center

The award program was established in 1991 by the Pharmaceutical Foundation as a means of recognizing staff members whose work performance is considered to be outstanding and beyond the level normally expected. Nominations are based upon performance, dedication, and length of service.
