Westbrooks Named to TPA Board of Directors

Kristi Westbrooks, a third professional year student, has been elected as the representative of the Academy of Students of Pharmacy to the Texas Pharmacy Association Board of Directors for 2003-04.

A native of Chandler, Texas, she was the winning candidate in a statewide election by all students in Texas who are members of TPA.
As the ASP representative, she is the sole pharmacy student member on the TPA Board and represents all Texas pharmacy students.

The Board of Directors is the elected governing body of TPA. Kristi was installed at the TPA Annual Meeting in Galveston in July, and will serve a one-year term.

Within the UT ASP chapter, she has served as a Pharmacy Council representative and as chair of the fundraising committee. She has worked as an intern with H.E.B. for the past year.
