Dr. O'Donnell is a Primary Care Clinical Liaison with Medical Affairs, Roche Labs and is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS). Additionally she is a certified disease manager (CDM) in several primary care therapeutic areas including: anticoagulation, asthma, hyperlipidemia and diabetes. In addition to her clinical and scientific leadership responsibilities at Roche, she maintains a clinical role at the Scott & White Lipid Clinic in Temple, Texas.
Her primary research interests are related to primary care practice, including evaluation of satisfaction, outcomes, and economic impact of patients' receiving ambulatory pharmaceutical care services. She has been involved in multiple clinical research investigations of heart disease risk factors and effects of medications on patients' lipoprotein profile. An additional research area includes evaluation and optimization of patient comprehension of the informed consent process.
