Project Collaborate

The mission of Project Collaborate is to provide health maintenance evaluations to many in Texas' underserved communities. Student pharmacists provide the health screenings free of charge in a variety of environments. Patients often represent populations with limited financial resources, lack of insurance or language barriers that prevent them from utilizing similar services.

Alumni Association Honors Four

Honorees of the 2011 College of Pharmacy Alumni Association annual awards include:

• Ms. Donna Burkett, recipient of the William J. Sheffield Outstanding Alumnus Award;
• Mr. Billy Woodward, recipient of the Legend of Pharmacy Award;
• Dr. Chris Frei (San Antonio, TX), recipient of the Distinguished Young Alumnus Award; and
• Dr. Diane Schuetze, recipient of the Wm. Arlyn Kloesel Preceptor of the Year Award.
