The College of Pharmacy will celebrate the diversity of its community on March 30 with the third annual Celebration of Culture.
The event is sponsored by the Cultural Proficiency Committee (CPC), Pharmacy Council, and the Pharmacy Graduate Student Association with financial support from Walgreens.
College students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the event that featurs native clothing, music, arts and cultural displays as well as samplings of food from around the world. The event will be held in the second floor lobby of the South Pharmacy Building from noon to 2 p.m.
The CPC is under the leadership of Dr. Carolyn Brown, professor of pharmacy administration. The group works to facilitate the college's capacity to create and maintain an environment that promotes and values diversity of people, beliefs and ideas.
