The College of Pharmacy celebrates the diversity of its community on Wednesday, April 3rd with the fifth annual Celebration of Culture.
The event is sponsored by the Cultural Proficiency Committee (CPC) and Pharmacy Council.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the event that features native clothing, music, arts and cultural displays as well as samplings of food from around the world. They are also encouraged to dress in traditional clothing. The event is scheduled for the second floor lobby of the South Pharmacy Building from noon to 1PM.
The CPC is under the leadership of Dr. Carolyn Brown, professor of pharmacy administration. The group works to facilitate the college's capacity to create and maintain an environment that promotes and values diversity of people, beliefs and ideas.
