Parents, spouses, children and other family and friends have an opportunity to learn about the daily life of their favorite pharmacy student when the college hosts Family Day 2009.
The event begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 24 with a breakfast before the opening session at 9 a.m. Attendees will hear Senior Associate Dean Patrick Davis discuss new changes in curriculum. Students in all four professional years will share glimpses of their lives as students progressing through the curriculum. College tours will also be available. The college program concludes at noon in time for participants to attend a barbeque in Gregory Gym hosted by the Texas Parents' Association.
Pharmacy Family Day is part of the university-wide Family Weekend 2009 set for October 23-25. Sophia Mnjoyan and Julie Evans serve as student event chairs for the pharmacy event.
