NCPA Student Group Honored at National Meeting
The University of Texas student chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association
garnered several honors at the recent NCPA national meeting in Nashville.
A seven-member student team competed in the student business plan poster session and placed among the top ten plans of all colleges competing. The plan was written by Chris Perling (P3), Amanda Rogers (P3), Chris Hernandez (P3), Rima Bouajram (P3), Tin Tran (P3), Yaser Gadit (P4), and Justin Simon (P4). Team members attending the meeting were awarded free convention registration.
The longhorn chapter was awarded $500 from the national organization when it was named second runner up for chapter of the year. In addition, the group was awarded $200 for bringing the second largest student delegation of 21 students.
