Longhorn students fared well in the clinical skills competition at the 2014 Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists annual seminar in Houston.
Nancy Pattyn and Staci Warren took first place honors in the P3 competition while Shiyi Geng and Steven Lee captured an honorable mention in the same category.
Meanwhile, Brittny Henderson and Sarah Rumbellow took honorable mention in the P1 competition. Congratulations to all students who participated in the competition.
The Clinical Skills Competition is an interactive, team-based analysis of clinical scenarios for hospital/health-system pharmacists. It provides pharmacy students the opportunity to enhance their skills in collaborative practice with physicians in providing direct patient care.
