Pharmacy Student Research Training Program

Open to all students enrolled in the PHR 051R “Introduction to Research” course.

Application Deadline May 7

The objective of the Pharmacy Student Research Training Program (PSRTP) is to provide a broad-based support mechanism for academically strong pharmacy students so that they are better informed and more prepared to enter advanced degree programs, postgraduate fellowships, or other research careers.

The PSRTP enables pharmacy students to perform state-of-the-art research in an integrated undergraduate research program. It is anticipated that the PSRTP will result in an increase in the number of pharmacy students pursuing Ph.D. degrees and postgraduate fellowships in pharmacy.

The PSRTP provides stipend support for academically talented pharmacy students performing research during the Summer between their P1 and P2 year. For applications or more information, contact Sean Kerwin, (512)471-5074 or skerwin@mail.utexas.edu.

THE PSRTP is supported through a generous grant from the Houston Endowment and by the UT Austin College of Pharmacy.
