Honors Program - Pharmacy


The College of Pharmacy Honors
Program, UT Austin

Candidates for the Undergraduate Honors Program should apply to the chairman of the Honors Program Committee of the College of Pharmacy after completing fall year 1 but before beginning fall year 2 of the degree program. In particular, the student must have completed at least the first year.

Criteria for admission to the program include:

  1. Admission to the professional pharmacy sequence
  2. A grade point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale in all required pharmacy coursework completed at the time of application to the program
  3. Approval by the Honors Program Committee

Graduation with Special Honors

Students completing the Undergraduate Honors Program with a cumulative 3.00 GPA will be candidates for graduation with special honors. This GPA must be maintained in all required pharmacy courses as well as in all other pharmacy courses including those elective courses that are approved for pharmacy elective credit offered outside the college.
