This year's event will be in the Student Activities Center (SAC) on April 22. All who submit an abstract are required to display a poster.
NEW THIS YEAR: As an added feature to Research Day beginning in 2014, poster awards will be presented in each student category. Poster awardees will receive a ribbon designating their work as a “poster winner.” Their names will be published on the Research Day website along with those of the abstract award winners.
Please make sure you have your poster set up in the morning in SAC 2.410, beginning at 9 a.m. If you are unable to make this time, please contact Jane Ann Parker.
We look forward to seeing you at 11 a.m. for the beginning of this showcase research event for our College!
Poster board frames are 8' wide (96") and 4' tall (48"). If you are printing your poster at the College of Pharmacy's Instructional Technology Development Lab (IDL), its plotter can print a maximum poster size of 86" x 44". The two options for paper width are 44" or 36".
If you decide to have your poster printed at the IDL, make an appointment with Belinda Lehmkuhle during the first week of March. It is important to schedule your appointment in a timely manner. Please note: poster printing is not available on Fridays.
To make an appointment, go by the IDL (PHR 3.112) Monday-Thursday between 7 am - 3 pm. You may also call 512-475-9177 or send email to email@example.com. Be prepared to provide possible dates during the last two weeks of March and first week of April when you can turn in your poster content.
IDL Services and Charges
Due to high demand and limited resources, the Instructional Technology Development Lab (IDL) limits poster printing services to the College of Pharmacy for professional use only.
To offset the cost of high quality photo paper and toners, there is a charge of $15 per linear foot of paper used for posters. For example, a poster that is either 36 or 44 inches tall and 5 feet wide is charged at a rate of $75.
All charges are made via IDT. Upon completion of the project, we will give you a form to enter an account number and authorization.

The preferred branding for your poster is the College of Pharmacy wordmark, which is available in three formats. Please email Vicki Matustik to request a copy of the wordmark in the format that you prefer to use. If you are printing your poster at the IDL, Belinda Lehmkuhle can add the wordmark to your poster.
