Learning Resource Center

Mission

The Learning Resource Center provides support to faculty, staff and students through its three-fold mission:

To support and maintain a reliable and modern instructional technology infrastructure;
to offer dependable, outstanding service to faculty, students and staff in specific, identified priority areas; and
to provide professional training and consulting on using technology for productivity and education.

The LRC makes its mission operational by supporting:

videoconferencing in the classroom and on the desktop
web-conferencing using Sonic Foundry's MediaSite
streaming of recorded Pharmacy classes
computer and audio/visual support for classes
a student computer laboratory
an instructional materials development facility (IDL)
a computer laboratory classroom
the college web-site
training and consulting in a variety of technical areas
day to day management of the Jaime N. Delgado Learning Resource Center

Computer Labs & Electronic Classrooms

The LRC maintains both a teaching and a student computer lab. It also maintains the college's ethernet network.

Jaime N. Delgado Learning Resource Center

This resource center offers a comfortable place to study, to watch streamed classes, or to participate in group study.

Instructional Technology Development Lab

The IDL offers advanced graphics services to faculty, staff, and graduate students for the design and creation of materials for teaching, posters, or publication.
