AV Support

The LRC employs an Audio/Visual Department to assist professors in the College of Pharmacy in achieving a maximum level of student comprehension with a minimum amount of effort. Other programs like the Drug Dynamics Institute, Continuing Education and UT Health Science Center in San Antonio also utilize the Audio/Visual Department's services to help achieve desired educational goals. The following lists detail the support services the LRC's Audio Visual Department provides to insure the best quality service for The University of Texas College of Pharmacy.

Policies

  • Equipment reservations are restricted to UT College of Pharmacy faculty, staff, and students.
  • Students are required to have faculty or staff authorization.*
  • Reservations for equipment have to be written, either by the request forms located on Janet Larsen's desk in PHR 4.123 or sent via our electronic Online AV Request Form.
  • Equipment reservations are only guaranteed if submitted one week advance.*
  • Equipment reservations are restricted to the Pharmacy Building. Equipment may not be taken out of this building.*
  • All equipment must be returned to the LRC at 5:00 PM. No equipment is allowed to stay out overnight or on weekends.*
  • PHR 3.106 and PHR 4.114 will be locked and alarmed at 5:00 PM.*
  • It is the responsibility of the Reserver to make any security arrangements. Equipment kept out after 5:00 PM must be secured (locked and alarmed) overnight.*
  • Equipment may not be transferred to any other room. Every piece of equipment must remain in the room where it is currently.
  • Please notify Jay Hamman if there are any maintenance issues with any equipment.
  • Computer files may not be kept on the hard drive or desktop of computers. All personal files will be deleted from computers. *
  • Room reservations are handled by Sharla Brewer (sharla.brewer@mail.utexas.edu). She offices in the Dean's Office at (512) 232-5409.
