History

Kappa Epsilon Fraternity boasts a proud tradition. Founded in Iowa City, Iowa, on May 13, 1921, KE evolved to fulfill an interest in an organization to unite all women pharmacy students in the United States. Led by Professor Zada M. Cooper of Iowa, representatives of the women's clubs of the University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, and State University of Iowa started an organization which today includes over 16,000 members comprising 34 collegiate and 12 alumnae chapters.
