General Information
Phi Delta Chi is a co-educational, national, professional pharmacy fraternity. Founded November 2, 1883, at the University of Michigan, Phi Delta Chi was the first professional pharmacy fraternity founded by pharmacists. The object of the fraternity, as expounded by its founding fathers, is "to advance the science of pharmacy and its allied interests and to foster and promote a fraternal spirit among its members." The motto, "Alterum Alterius Auxilio Eget," (each needs the help of the other) becomes very meaningful as you journey through pharmacy school.

The pharmacy profession continues to look to Phi Delta Chi for leaders of tomorrow. You are becoming more than a member of a professional fraternity, you are becoming a part of a profession...PHARMACY!
