  2. Integrity at UT and Beyond
    1. Panel discussion with Vice President for Student Affairs Juan González and Austin City Manager Futrell
    2. 6-8 PM in the Connally Ballroom at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center
    3. Anyone interested?   Please let Grace know ASAP for dinner on 2/20.

  4. Relay for Life
    1. Interested in forming a team?   An overnight event, 1 member of your team nust be walking at all times, followed by a remembrance ceremony for all those we've lost to cancer.   Any volunteers to head up a group or lead a team??

    1. March 24, 2007--if you want your organization there with a table, send them an email.   MAAPS was there last year with a table and spreading the word about Pharmacy School.

  7. Elections of new officers
    1. Nominations February 27 th --elections will take place after Spring Break and we will probably be doing electronic voting thanks to the efforts of Erika and our exec. team.   Thanks folks!!   Any student can run for any position, but you are unable to be President of an organization and hold the V.P. or Financial Director position.   Class Reps--please let your classes know about the nominations at the next meeting and voting.

  1. Student lounge- kitchen supplies--$7/organization, $15 for UTSSHP and UTASP due to increased size of organizations.   This cost is per semester.
  2. Fundraising update (other item issue) -new policy put into effect Fall 2007 to make it more fair to all organizations selling items, this pertains to Ghost Grams/Val grams, scrub pants, PT books, etc.   The calendar committee is going to look at fundraising dates and meeting dates to standardize a calendar from year to year.   Do all organizations agree??   To simplify, Nishi will draw up a proposal calendar for Exec. to look over and see if the ideas are even feasible.   We will let you know.

  2. February 21, 2007: UT Integrity Improv
    1. Wednesday's special event, which will take place in Welch 1.316, is a friendly competition among student organizations and faculty members for the most creative interpretation of one of the University's core values, with a $500 grand prize for the winner. This event starts at 6 PM with FREE pizza, drinks, and an entertaining performance by UT's improvisational troupe, Gigglepants. All members of the University community are encouraged to attend.
  3. February 22, 2007: IntegrityUT Celebration
    1. At the signature wrap-up event on Thursday, the University community will gather on the Main Mall at 5 PM for an experience unique to the University of Texas at Austin--a complimentary Bar-B-Q featuring former Dallas mayor and Texas Secretary of State Ron Kirk speaking on the importance of integrity, and a live band performance by Texas Renegade.

Student Activities Center being built in parking lot next to Gregory gym.   They are really looking for feedback from Graduate students b/c there is no current place on campus for them to study.   They want your suggestions!   SG elections will be 2/27 and 2/28 and they are university-wide.   They are done separately from the COP, they are really looking for SG reps for Pharmacy...talk to Erika if you're interested.

Explore UT: Sat. 3/3, any organ. president with ??'s re. Jungle Bazaar from 1-3 pm let Leslie know. Still need volunteers to help tear down. Way to go MAAPS for offering to host all coop students coming to town for Explore UT.

IM: we won last week's basketball games and softball will be coming in 1month

Disease Awareness: HIV speaker on Wed. 2/21 at 12pm and food will be served.   Excellent speaker will be present with some of her patients.

Student Interviews: Interviews Friday and Sat. please sign up.   Hospitality room--dress up with white coat, with greeters telling students where to go.   Still need people to help out with tours.   If your organiz. Wants to be in the hospitality room, let Meena know.   Still also need organization coolers for the weekend.   Is anyone willing to donate??

Social: 4/15 at LBJ fields, 11-4pm picnic and field day activities, food will be Rudy's BBQ.   It will be free!!

Faculty Relations: Arlyn to host a students' dinner to discuss personal or school related issues.   15 students max, open to all students, but first come-first served.   Prob. will try to pick an equal amount from each class.
