08CMR002 - MCD - Housing Exterior Renovations

This RFP includes the following:

The scope of work is construction renovation that includes replace roofing and siding and decks with non-combustible materials and provide new fencing.

Design and construction documents will be complete prior to award of the CMR agreement; therefore, no pre-construction services from the CMR are anticipated.

The first GMP pricing for the first residence is anticipated as soon as the CMR agreement is in place.  The first GMP will be limited to funds immediately available to complete the maximum work.

The second GMP pricing to commence work on the second residence will be requested as funds are available.

Separate, additional GMP proposals may be requested for each separate residence or multiple structures as funding is provided.  No more than two residences will be out of service at a time. 

Anticipated date for contract commencement and pricing for the first GMP is late June or early July, 2008.

Estimated construction value of the Project will range between $80,000.00 and $1,500,000.00 based on available funds.

The Owner reserves the option to not complete any of the above Projects and/or to split the Project into one or more similar projects.

The following is the project schedule of work:

This contract shall begin on or about July 8, 2008 and shall last up to 4 years.  Each GMP shall have its own start date and completion date based on the scope of work included.

From the North: Take the Manor Rd exit. Turn left at Manor Rd. then left again onto the frontage road. Continue north, passing Mt. Calvary cemetery on the right. Turn right at the LBJ Library sign and stay to the left. The Facilities Complex is just across Dean Keeton. Turn left. At the 2nd driveway, turn right.
