Life Science Library Seminar Rooms for Paul Woodruff

Main Building (MAI)

Provide space for six seminar rooms, and relocate the computers presently located in the alcoves. Demo existing card catalogues, granite headers above catalogues, ceilings, and light fixtures; Provide new glass walls and doors between the seminar rooms and library lobby, new sound walls between seminar rooms; Provide MEP for new seminar rooms, including power and network access for computers, revise return air system for the library lobby, provide new air supply and return to the seminar rooms. Provide new ceilings, lights, pull down screens, marker boards, and projector mounts in new seminar rooms, including multi media equipment. Remodel existing reading room floor conduit for relocation of the computers that are presently in the card catalogue alcoves. Provide power for the copiers to be relocated in the library lobby. Convert existing staff break room, Rm. 224, to office for assistant librarian. Convert existing Rm. 230 to staff break room. Replace existing entrance doors from main stair to library lobby.   

The general Construction Budget for the project is approximately $585,000.00 to $663,000.00

From the North: Take the Manor Rd exit. Turn left at Manor Rd. then left again onto the frontage road. Continue north, passing Mt. Calvary cemetery on the right. Turn right at the LBJ Library sign and stay to the left. The Facilities Complex is just across Dean Keeton. Turn left. At the 2nd driveway, turn right.
