Occurred between 3-10-02 at 6:00 p.m. and 3-11-02 at 12:30 p.m.
Theft: A Power Mac G4, Epson 1240U Printer, Nikon Cool Pix digital camera, CD burner, and Epson 1240 Perfection scanner was stolen from a room on the 2nd floor. Loss value: $3,600.00.

Date and time theft occurred has not been determined as of this date.
Theft: Six Dell laptop computers were stolen from a storage room on the 2nd floor. Loss value: $12,000.
Frank C. Erwin Jr. Special Events Center, 1701 Red River
Occurred on 3-7-02 between 10:35 p.m. and 10:40 p.m.
Theft: A gray and silver Samsung Sprint cellular telephone was stolen when it was left unattended on the steps between sections 32 and 33. The cellular telephone had been used four times since it was stolen. Four calls were to an Austin telephone number and one was to a Houston telephone number. Loss value: $150.00.

Occurred between 3-7-02 at 10:30 p.m. and 3-8-02 at 7:30 a.m.
Theft: A concession stand roll down gate was not secured properly allowing unknown subjects to force the gate open. Four cases of M&M's chocolate candy (192 units) were stolen. Loss value: $480.00.

Occurred on 3-8-02 at 9:05 a.m.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was identified soliciting on the north side of the building. Subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for traffic violation.

Occurred on 3-9-02 at 12:30 p.m.
Assault: A non-UT female subject assaulted a non-UT male subject during a domestic argument in section 49. Victim was beaten with a pompom and scratched on the face.
Gateway Apartments, 1618 West 6th Street
Occurred between 3-7-02 at 9:00 p.m. and 3-8-02 at 9:15 a.m.
Burglary Of Vehicle: The back window of a gray 4-door 1996 Nissan was broken out. A Coby 5" black/white TV with AM/FM radio, vehicle tire air compressor and plastic toolbox with assorted tools were stolen. Loss value: $235.00.
Parking Garage #2, 2420 San Antonio
Occurred between 3-9-02 at 12:01 a.m. and 3-11-02 at 12:33 a.m.
Graffiti: Green spray paint was used on a south wall. The writing stated, "you are being filmed for your cars protection." Repair cost: $200.00.

Occurred on 3-8-02 at 8:00 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: Two UT students were found on the roof of the elevator shaft. Subject had climbed a ladder and gone over a locked security barrier to get to the roof. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.
Parking Lot 27, 2600 Whitis Avenue
Occurred on 3-11-02 at 6:40 p.m.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was identified loitering around vehicles in the Parking Lot. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning. Subject was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants (2 for alcohol violations and 1 for forgery).
Parking Lot 67, 1900 Speedway
Occurred between 3-11-02 at 10:22 a.m. and 3-12-02 at 8:30 a.m.
Theft: A Parking and Transportation orange Rhino vehicle immobilization device (BOOT) was put on a UT student's vehicle for excessive parking fines. Vehicle was later found gone along with the BOOT. Loss value: $450.00.
Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street
Occurred on 3-10-02 at 3:20 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found to be under the influence of alcohol to the point he was an endangerment to himself. Subject was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia.
Parking Lot 110, 2200 Comal Street
Occurred on 3-10-02 at 1:30 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was identified sleeping in his vehicle. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Parking Lot 117, 1900 Comal Street
Occurred between 3-7-02 at 12:05 p.m. and 3-10-02 at 6:30 p.m.
Burglary of Vehicle: A red Dodge pickup truck had its right front passenger window broken out. The vehicles security alarm had been disconnected under the hood. A Sony Explode CD player, two ten inch Rockford-Fosgae "Punch" speakers, gray felt covered speaker box, black Oakley M-frame sunglasses, blue-green Nike MP3 player, and 80 CD's were stolen. Loss Value: $400.00.
McCombs School of Business, 100 East 21st Street
Occurred between 3-8-02 at 4:00 p.m. and 3-11-02 at 6:15 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: Four lockers in the K locker set had been damaged when someone pried on the locking mechanism hinges and center support column. Repair cost: $300.00.
21st and Speedway
Occurred on 3-8-02 at 12:25 a.m.
Suspicious Person: A UT student was approached by a subject who stated that someone riding a BMX bicycle had just tried to stab him. Subject then wanted the student to act out the possible stabbing with a pen. When student offered to contact police, subject stated that he was fine and then left the area. Subject was described as a white male, short, knit cap, wearing a flannel shirt that was possibly tan and brown in color.
Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton
Occurred on 3-11-02 at 10:55 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: An unknown male subject was seen entering an occupied 3rd floor women's restroom. Subject remained in the restroom for approximately three minutes before leaving. Subject was described as a black male, 20 to 30 years of age, 5'9" to 5'11", close cut hair, wearing a green sweater.
Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe
Discovered on 3-10-02 at 11:55 p.m.
Graffiti: A black marker and black spray paint was used to draw pictures of ghosts and write "were the monsters under the stairs FOOT, CLAN" in five areas around the exterior stairwell. Repair cost: $300.00.
