Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 3-29-02 at 3:55 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported to be loitering, for a long period of time, in a first floor men's restroom without using the facilities. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 3-29-02 at 3:20 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a bench in a first floor hallway. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 3-29-02 at 7:18 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject jumped a barrier wall to enter the area that is restricted to UT faculty, students and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

200 East Jester Circle

Occurred on 3-31-02 at 11:15 a.m.

Theft: A non-UT subject was identified in possession of bolt-cutters and a UT registered bicycle that belonged to a UT student that lived in Carothers Dormitory, 2501 Whitis Avenue. Recovered value: $100.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st

Occurred on 3-27-02 at 10:13 p.m.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: During the investigation of the smell of marijuana, drug paraphernalia was found in a fourth floor dormitory room that was occupied by three UT students.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, LONGHORN DINING, 203 East 21st

Occurred on 3-31-02 between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: A 3'X 2' frosted textured glass window was found broken out on the east side of Longhorn Dining. A trail of blood led to a 4th floor dormitory room. A UT-student with stitched up lacerations to his right arm admitted to punching out the window. Loss value $500.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st

Occurred between 2-25-02 at 3:00 p.m. and 2-28-02 at 2:00 p.m.

Credit Card Abuse: Several hundred dollars worth of credit card charges were made to a resident's credit card. The credit card had been removed from a wallet that was left in a 12th floor dormitory room that is left unsecured at all times. After the charges were made the credit card was returned to the room and left on a table that had been previously searched.

Occurred between 3-22-02 at 5:00 p.m. and 3-29-02 at 4:45 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: Four authorized posters were removed from the main lobby and the Malcolm "X" Lounge that advertised an upcoming fraternity picnic. The posters were replaced with posters that stated that the picnic had been canceled.

Occurred between 3-29-02 at 11:45 p.m. and 3-30-02 at 4:30 a.m.

Theft: Most of the clothing hanging in the closets of an unsecured fifth floor dormitory room was stolen. A note was found on one of the resident's bed that said "Ha, Ha." Loss value: $750.00.

Parking Garage 3, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 3-29-02 between 4:07 a.m. and 10:35 a.m.

Theft: Texas personalized license plates "UTQB5" was stolen off a 1998 Ford pick-up that was parked on the ground level of the garage.

Parking Lot 67, 1900 Speedway

Occurred on 3-31-02 between 6:49 p.m. and 11:57 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The words "After 3:15.com" were found written in white shoe polish on 20 vehicles parked inside the lot.

Occurred between 3-30-02 at 9:00 p.m. and 3-31-02 5:30 p.m.

Theft: Texas license plate G99YFR was stolen off a 2000 Acura that was parked on the west end of the lot.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 3-30-02 at 5:00 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by Minor: A non-UT subject under the age of 21 years of age was found sitting in a parked vehicle. Subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Parking Lot 106, 2200 Chicon

Occurred on 3-31-02 at 2:50 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was walking through the Parking Lot, under the influence of alcohol to the point that he was an endangerment to himself.

SEMATECH Parking Lot, 2706 Montopolis

Occurred on 3-29-02 between 1:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Burglary of Vehicle: Several items were stolen out of an unsecured blue GMC van that was parked in the west side Parking Lot. The steering wheel column was broken even though the vehicle keys were left in the ignition. A black vinyl gym bag, two baseball caps (with "TASO" in white lettering), 12 VHS tapes, 10 ink pens, an open bag of Jolly Rancher candy, and several packs of cigarettes were stolen. A TV and VCR, which were left in the vehicle, were not stolen. Loss value: $115.00.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred on 3-30-02 at 8:10 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping by the trash dumpsters on the ground level parking garage. Subject was given a written criminal trespass warning.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 3-30-02 at 8:30 a.m.

Graffiti: Orange spray paint was used to make a drawing and the words "Reign of Terror" were written on a support beam in the ground level parking garage. Repair cost: $ 150.00.

2000 block San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 3-31-02 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The rear passenger window of a 1994 Toyota Camry was broken out and a black leather CD case with 40 various compact disks and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo were taken. Loss value $575.00.

Occurred on 3-31-02 between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The front passenger window of a 1995 Saturn was broken out and a black Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo was stolen. Loss value $150.00.
