Centennial Park, 1620 Red River

Occurred on 4-20-02 at 6:10 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was asleep in a bedroll on the north side of the park. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 4-19-02 between 2:15 p.m. and 3:10 p.m.

Theft: A black bi-fold cloth Prada wallet was stolen from a backpack that was left in an unlocked locker that was located in the women's second floor locker room. Wallet contained assorted identification and credit cards. Loss value: $20.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center, 2000 Speedway

Occurred on 4-18-02 at 3:58 p.m.

Credit Card Abuse: A charge was made on a credit card and then the card was stolen from an ATM on the west side of the building after the owner left the card in the machine. Loss value $301.50.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 4-19-02 at 7:40 a.m.

Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol by Minor: A non-UT subject was found lying in a third floor hallway, under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was an endangerment to herself. Subject was transported to a local hospital by EMS due to the extent of the alcohol poisoning.

Littlefield Home, 302 West 24th Street

Occurred on 4-20-02 at 8:35 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found loitering in the dumpster area on the west side of the building. Subject was carrying a gas can containing gasoline that he admitted to sniffing to get a high. Subject had received a prior written criminal trespass warning for loitering in this same area.

Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation Building (MCC), 3525 West Braker Lane

Occurred on 4-21-02 at 1:37 a.m.

Assist an Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found parked in a south Parking Lot that is restricted to vehicles having official business with MCC. Subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for violation of a city ordinance.

Moore-Hill Dormitory, 214 East 21st Street

Occurred between 4-18-02 at 4:30 p.m. and 4-19-02 at 3:45 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: A 6"x 8" hole was punched in the sheetrock located in the northeast stairwell 1st floor landing. A second 5"x 7" hole was found punched in the second floor landing of the same stairwell. Repair value: $200.00.

Parking Garage 3, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 4-20-02 between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The control arm motor of the lower level south exit gate was damage when an unknown subject forcibly raised the control arm. Description of offender was unknown because video camera tape had not been reviewed at time report was made. Repair cost: $100.00.

Parking Garage 5, 2017 Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred between 4-19-02 at 4:00 p.m. and 4-21-02 at 10:46 a.m.

Theft: A parking garage access card was stolen from a 1999 Black Jeep that was parked on the north end of level 1. The Jeep top was rolled up and the card had been left in an unsecured location. Loss value: $10.00.

Parking Lot 53, 2600 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 4-21-02 at 2:30 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by Minor: A UT-student was found under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Printing and Press Building, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred 4-21-02 at 10:55 a.m.

Suspicious Fire: A fire was discovered burning inside the air vent of a boiler and through the firewall of the boiler room. Fire was ruled suspicious but inconclusive on how it started. Loss value, unknown at this time.

Sid Richardson Hall #2, 2300 Red River

Occurred between 2-18-02 and 4:15-02 at 3:00 p.m.

Theft: An unsecured computer was stolen from a 3rd floor hallway table. Computer was a Dell 266D mini-tower with internal CD and Zip drive. Computer had a 100 MB drive and a 10/100 Ethernet card. Loss value: $250.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 4-19-02 at 7:50 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the third floor in an area that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 4-21-02 between 2:30 p.m. and 3:40 p.m.

Graffiti: Graffiti written in green and white magic marker was discovered inside the 2nd floor men's restroom. Loss value $ 150.00.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 4-16-02 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Theft: An unsecured laptop computer was stolen from a 5th floor carrel in the law library. Computer was a IBM Thinkpad 765D. Loss value: $600.00.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 4-20-02 at 4:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist an Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was sleeping on a couch on the fourth floor in an area that is restricted to students, faculty and staff. Subject had been issued a prior criminal trespass warning regarding being in areas that were not open to the public. Subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for violation of a city ordinance.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 4-20-02 at 4:40 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a room on the first floor that is reserved of students, faculty and staff. Subject had been issued a prior criminal trespass warning regarding being in areas that were not open to the public.

200 Block East Jester Circle

Occurred between 4-18-02 at 5:00 p.m. and 4-19-02 at 2:00 a.m.

Theft: A holder containing a license plate and inspection sticker was stolen off a purple 1994 Kawasaki that was parking in the motorcycle area. Loss value: $50.00.
