Occurred on 4-22-02 in the evening.

Sexual Assault: A UT student was sexually assaulted by a UT teaching assistant in the victim's dormitory room.

Occurred on 4-26-02 at 1:18 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by Minor: A UT student was found in the lobby under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

COMMUNICATION BUILDING B, 2504 Whitis Avenue

Occurred between 4-23-02 at 9:00 p.m. and 4-25-02 at 5:30 p.m.

Theft: An orange vinyl banner was stolen from a 4th floor office. Banner was 5' x 12" and stated "ACTLAB" in black lettering. Loss value: $250.00.

Disch-Falk Field, 1300 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 4-27-02 at 1:10 p.m.

Soliciting: A non-UT subject was found reselling event tickets on the south side of the facility in violation of University regulations.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred on 4-26-02 between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Theft: An IBM Thinkpad laptop computer was stolen when it was left in an unsecured fifth floor study lounge. Loss value: $500.00.

Occurred on 4-26-02 at 12:28 a.m.

Theft: A wall mounted Wheelock fire alarm strobe light was stolen from a second floor study lounge. Loss value: $80.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred between 4-1-02 at 4:00 p.m. and 4-5-01 at 1:00 p.m.

Theft: A purple Huffy bicycle was stolen from the bicycle rack on the west side of the building. Loss value: $75.00.

Occurred on 4-26-02 at 2:10 a.m.

Minor In Possession: A pizza delivery person reported that occupants in a 1st floor dormitory room refused to pay for the pizzas they ordered. UT Police found four UT students, under the age of 21, in the room, in possession of alcoholic beverages.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred on 4-27-02 at 7:50 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found posting unauthorized political flyers on the West Mall and the north side of the building. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 67, 1900 Speedway

Occurred on 4-28-02 between 12:30 a.m. and 5:40 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A radar detector and tool kit were stolen from a white 2000 Acura Integra that was parked in the middle portion of the Parking Lot. There was no indication of forced entry into the vehicle. The vehicles right side front and rear tires were also stolen. Two car jacks were left under the right side of the vehicle. Loss value: $250.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred between 4-23-02 at 4:00p.m. and 4-27-02 at 9:35 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The right front window was broken on a blue 1993 Nissan. Repair value: $100.00.

Parking Lot 108, 1500 Red River

Reported on 4-28-02 at 11:47 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A UT student observed a non-UT subject in the act of burglarizing a motor vehicle in the Parking Lot on 4-28-02 at 11:35 pm. Witness reported offense to UT Police at Jester West at 11:47 pm. UT Police found the subject in the 1900 block of San Jacinto on 4-29-02 at 12:12 am. Based upon property in his possession (CD cases and auto CD players), subject had burglarized five vehicles in Parking Lot 108 and three vehicles in the 1900 block of San Jacinto. Vehicle damage (8 vehicles): $1,000.00. Recovered property (8 vehicles): $1,900.00.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway

Occurred on 4-26-02 between 3:00 p.m. and 4:20 p.m.

Theft: A Mac Powerbook 5400 laptop computer was stolen from a ninth floor office. Owner locked the office when he left but found the office door ajar when he returned. Loss value: $2000.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 4-28-02 at 12:20 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the third floor in an area that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 4-28-02 at 12:40 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in a chair on the third floor in an area that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

200 Block West 21st Street

Occurred on 4-28-02 at 3:20 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by Minor: A UT student was found under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

700 Block West 24th Street

Occurred on 4-26-02 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The keyway ignition switch on a red 1999 BMW was tampered with. The switch was bent and it appeared someone attempted to steal the motorcycle. Repair cost: $75.00.
