Ashbel Smith Hall, 2001 West 7th Street

Occurred on 5-19-02 at 2:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects and a UT-Austin staff employee were found parked inside the west garage after obtaining an unauthorized access code. All three subjects received criminal trespass warnings for the area.

Brackenridge Apartments, 3501 Lake Austin Blvd.

Occurred on 5-18-02 at 4:03 p.m.

Unauthorized Dumping/Theft of Service: A non-UT subject was observed dumping trash into a dumpster near building 3453. Subject denied any illegal dumping activity when stopped. Loss value $150.00.

Disch-Falk Field, 1300 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 5-17-02 at 4:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was given a criminal trespass warning to leave the property of the University of Texas after being observed violating institutional policies and rules. Subject became confrontational and refused to leave the property.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 5-17-02 at 3:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass/Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was verbally abusive towards library staff and library patrons. Subject was found to be intoxicated and a danger to himself and to others after he threatened to kill a library patron. During the investigation it was discovered that the subject had received several previous criminal trespass warnings for the building.

Homer Rainey Hall, 200 West 21st Street

Occurred on 5-18-02 at 2:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were observed skateboarding off the west steps of HRH. Both subjects received criminal trespass warnings for the area.

Littlefield Fountain, South Mall

Occurred on 5-20-02 at 1:40 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was observed climbing onto the statues to get his picture taken. Subject received a criminal trespass warning for the area.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred between 5-15-02 at 3:00 p.m. and 5-17-02 at 2:10 p.m.

Theft: Two UT-students removed a brown combination microwave refrigerator from a second floor dorm room. Loss value $439.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 5-09-02 at 4:45 p.m.

Theft of Service: A UT-Student received 23 faxes and was unable or refused to pay for the services received at the time. Loss value $23.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 5-17-02 at 1:37 a.m.

Suspicious Activity: An unknown subject was observed loading carpet into a vehicle. Vehicle was described as a late model red 4-door.

Parking Garage #3, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred between 5-16-02 at 11:00 p.m. and 5-17-02 at 11:50 p.m.

Graffiti: Gang-style graffiti written in black, blue and white aerosol spray paint was discovered on the east side of the garage. Loss value $200.00.

Parking Garage #3, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 5-17-02 at 3:10 a.m.

Assault: A UT staff member was assaulted when hit in the chest by a non-UT subject.

Parking Garage #7, 1815 Trinity Street

Occurred on 5-19-02 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The exit control arm located on the 4th level was damage by unknown means and found laying on the ground. Loss value $45.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred 5-17-02 at 1:31 p.m.

Theft: A brown-black straw bag and contents were stolen when two unknown subjects entered a 4th floor office and distracted a UT-staff member long enough for one of them to grab the bag. Subjects were described as: Hispanic male 5'10" and skinny. Was last seen wearing a t-shirt, ball cap on backwards, baggy jeans and carrying a blue backpack. The second subject was described as: Hispanic female, long dark hair pulled back, 5'5, dark complexion, and heavy set. Was last seen wearing white t-shirt/tank top with 6"-9" block print letters on the back. Loss value $30.00.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 5-17-02 at 6:20 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a restricted area sleeping. Subject received a criminal trespass warning for the area.

5000 block Guadalupe

Occurred on 5-20-02 at 2:09 a.m.

Driving Under the Influence: A non-UT subject was observed committing a number of traffic violations. When stopped, it was discovered that the driver was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

5000 block Guadalupe

Occurred on 5-20-002 at 1:30 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject under the legal age of 21, was found intoxicated on the passenger side of a vehicle. Subject was in possession of multiple driver's licenses that showed he was of legal age to consume alcohol.
