Occurred on 6-17-02 at 12:05 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were observed skateboarding off the west exterior steps. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.

Gateway Apartments, 1618 West 6th Street

Discovered on 6-17-02 at 1:15 a.m.

Graffiti: Gang style symbols were spray painted with black aerosol paint on the walls of the bus stop that is at the entrance to the apartment complex. Removal cost: $250.00.

Graduate School of Business, 100 West 21st Street

Occurred on 6-14-02 between 12 noon and 12:30 p.m.

Theft: A yellow 18 volt Dewalt 1/2" Cordless drill in a black case was stolen from the second floor south lobby after it was left unattended along with several other tools. Loss value: $290.00.

Parking Garage #2, 2420 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 6-15-02 between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The wooden exit arm was broken off of the southeast gate. Perpetrator can not be determined until video records are reviewed. Damage value: $50.00.

Parking Lot 108, 1500 Red River

Occurred on 6-14-02 at 9:20 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found camping in his vehicle. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street

Occurred on 6-14-02 between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Theft: A black Mossinio ladies purse was stolen from an unsecured laboratory on the fourth floor. Purse contained a black Startac cellular telephone and a black Nine West wallet with assorted credit cards and identification. One of the credit cards was used at a local retail store prior to the owner finding out her purse was stolen. Loss value: $80.00.

1900 San Antonio

Occurred on 6-15-02 at 5:00 p.m.

Graffiti: Austin Police contacted UT Police regarding a UT student who they had just arrested for the second time for spray painting gang monikers on property off campus. The graffiti was found to be similar to several graffiti markings recently found on campus.

2000 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 6-15-02 at 4:41 a.m.

Driving While Intoxicated - 2nd Offense: A vehicle was observed on the sidewalk on the southwest corner of the Texas Memorial Stadium. The vehicle had stopped against the concrete stairs that lead up to the south service drive exit of Bellmont Hall. The engine was running and a UT student was found passed out behind the wheel of the car. Subject was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
