Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Ave.

Occurred between 6-18-02 at 3:00 p.m. and 6-19-02 at 11:00 p.m.

Theft: An orange and black Mongoose S2000 mountain bicycle was stolen from the bicycle racks located on the east side of the building. Loss value: $100.00.

T. S. Painter Hall, 103 West 24th Street

Occurred on 6-19-02 between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Theft: A silver 21-speed Pacific mountain bicycle with front shocks and a middle post shock was stolen after being secured to a decorative chain located on the east side of the building. Loss value: $230.00.

Parking Lot 70, 2000 Block Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred on 6-18-02 between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A 2000 Nissan Xterra, parked along the eastern most row, was struck on the left rear quarter panel by an unknown vehicle. Repair cost: $1,000.00.

Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street

Occurred on 6-18-02 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Theft: A pair of gray metal oval framed Oakley sunglasses with black reflective lenses was stolen after being set next to a second floor computer while the owner was working on the computer. Loss value: $140.00.

Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street

Occurred on 6-18-02 between 4:00 p.m. and 4:20 p.m.

Theft: A light blue in color textbook, "Reinforced Concrete Design" was stolen from an unsecured fifth floor study carrel. Loss value: $50.00.

Pharmacy Building, 2409 University Ave.

Occurred on 6-18-02 at 10:30 p.m.

Attempted Theft: A UT-student found an unknown male going through her purse inside an unsecured fourth floor office. When confronted the unknown male left the area. Subject is described as a white male, 30 years of age, 5'7", thin build with short hair and was last seen wearing a brown jacket.

Pharmacy Building, 2409 University Ave.

Occurred on 6-19-02 at 10:10 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A UT-student who found an unknown male going through her purse inside an unsecured fourth floor office on 6-18-02 observed the same subject again in the same area entering unsecured offices. Subject is described as a white male, 30 years of age, 5'7", thin build with short hair and was last seen wearing a brown jacket.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 6-19-02 at 10:58 p.m.

Graffiti: Gang-style graffiti written in black magic marker was found inside a first floor men's restroom. Two unknown males were seen leaving the room prior to the discovery of the graffiti. First subject is described as a white male, 5'3" and was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, brown polo shirt and blue shorts. Second subject is described as a white male, 5'7" with light brown hair and was last seen wearing a brown shirt and beige pants. Both subjects were last seen running west towards Guadalupe street. Repair cost: $200.00.
