Calhoun Hall, #4 South Mall

Occurred on 6-21-02 at 2:45 p.m.

Suspicious Person: An unknown male was seen entering unsecured rooms located on the fifth floor. Subject was described as having bleached blond hair, no other description given.

Engineering Teaching Center, 204 East Dean Keeton Street

Occurred on 6-17-02 at 4:30 p.m.

Suspicious Activity: A UT-student attempted to ignite a wad of paper that had been stuffed into a plastic bottle, while inside a second floor classroom.

Experimental Science Building, 100 East 24th Street

Occurred on 6-19-02 between 9:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.

Theft: A green leather wallet containing six dollars in cash, various credit cards, and various identification cards was stolen from inside an unsecured desk drawer located inside an unsecured fifth floor laboratory. Loss value: $25.00.

Goldsmith Hall, # 5 West Mall

Occurred between 6-18-02 at 12:01 a.m. and 6-19-02 7:00 p.m.

Theft: A gray and blue Jansport backpack containing a silver Sony MP3 CD player, a silver radio (unknown brand), and a black Body Glove carrier containing 50-60 various CDs was stolen from an unsecured third floor laboratory. Loss value: $945.00.

Goldsmith Hall, # 5 West Mall

Occurred on 6-19-02 at 5:20 p.m.

Harassment: A threatening offensive telephone call was received in a second floor office. An unknown male caller was described as a young African-American. The call originated from an on-campus telephone.

Main Building, # 1 South Mall

Occurred between 6-19-02 at 9:00 p.m. and 6-20-02 at 7:50 a.m.

Burglary: Fifteen dollars and several keys were stolen from several locked desks and locked cabinets located inside a secured third floor office suite. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $15.00.

Parking Garage #5, 2017 Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred on 6-20-02 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:50 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A gray 2000 Ford Mustang parked on the 2nd level was struck by an unknown vehicle causing damage to the left rear quarter panel. The unknown vehicle left the scene. Repair cost: $1,500.00.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Block Red River

Occurred on 6-20-02 at 3:15 p.m.

Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was observed by UTPD consuming an alcoholic beverage then laying down as if to sleep. It was determined that the subject was not intoxicated. A written criminal trespass warning was issued.

J. T. Patterson Laboratories Building, 2415 Speedway

Occurred on 6-7-02 at 3:20 p.m.

Theft: A checkbook was stolen from an unsecured third floor office. Several checks were used at local area merchants prior to the discovery of the theft. Loss value: $800.00.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton Street

Occurred on 6-20-02 at 4:26 p.m.

Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning after following and yelling profanity at a UT-student who had refused to give the subject a cigarette.
