Clark Field, 300 East 21st Street

Occurred on 7-18-02 at 1:40 a.m.

Possession of Controlled Substance / Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia: Five UT students were observed in a dark area on the east side of the field. One of the subjects was seen smoking an object and then passing it on to another subject in the group. One subject was found in possession of a small baggie of marijuana and a glass pipe that contained a narcotic residue.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 7-16-02 between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Theft: A 1998 Trek 7000 bicycle was stolen from a west side bicycle rack while it was secured to the rack with a cable lock. Loss value: $400.00.

Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building A, 2504A Whitis Avenue

Occurred between 7-16-02 at 4:30 p.m. and 7-17-02 at 11:30 a.m.

Theft: A Dell Latitude C840 laptop computer was stolen from a locked sixth floor office. Loss: $1,500.00.

George I. Sánchez Building, 1912 Speedway

Occurred on 6-28-02.

Credit Card Abuse: A non-UT subject was picked out of a photo line up as the subject who used a credit card stolen on 6-25-02 from a third floor office to purchase $757.69 worth of merchandise from a local merchant on 6-25-02.
