Occurred between mid June and July 23, 2002 at 11:00 a.m.
Theft: Eleven $100.00 bills in U.S. currency where removed from an envelope that was hidden inside a dresser drawer located in a third floor dormitory room. Loss value $1,100.00.
Mezes Hall, #5 South Mall
Occurred on 7-23-02 between 1:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Burglary of Coin-Operated Machine: The glass window of a vending machine was discovered broken out and product laying on the ground. The loss value is unknown at this time. Repair cost: $100.00.
Parking Garage #6, 105 East 27th Street
Occurred on 7-23-02 at 12:45 p.m.
Suspicious Activity: An unknown subject was observed pulling on the door handles of cars parked on the third floor of the garage. Subject is described as: White male, 20 years of age, 5'9," thin build, with short blond hair. Subject was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and blue jeans.
Printing and Press Building, 2100 Comal Street
Occurred between 7-19-02 at 12:01 p.m. and 7-22-02 at 10:00 a.m.
Theft: A "Masterlock" key for a bank deposit bag was removed from a key ring, which was located inside a first floor desk drawer. Loss value: $1.00.
2500 block Speedway
Occurred on 7-22-02 at 11:20 p.m.
Leaving the Scene Collision: A red Oldsmobile 4-door, parked along the west curb line was struck in the right front quarter panel by a red Nissan truck that was backing up. The driver of the truck stopped, looked around then drove away. The driver is described as a middle-eastern female with long dark hair. Repair cost: $1,000.00.
