Blanton Dormitory, 2500 University Avenue

Occurred between 8-18-02 at 10:00 a.m. and 8-19-02 at 3:15 p.m.

Theft: A black Phillips 32" screen color television was stolen from an unsecured first floor area. The television had been secured to a fixed object with a cable. The cable had been affixed to a metal plate on the television. The cable had been pulled on, breaking the cable from the plate. Loss value: $500.00.

Brackenridge Hall Dormitory, 207 East 21st Street

Occurred on 8-20-02 at 5:00 a.m.

Failure to Identify / Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a bench on the north side patio. When asked to identify himself, subject gave a false date of birth. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Discovered on 8-19-02 at 4:45 p.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent felt marker was used to draw a caricature and write a phrase on the west side hand railing wall. Removal cost: $100.00.
