Blanton Dormitory, 2500 Block University
Occurred on 8-30-02 at 4:30 a.m.
Criminal Mischief / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student entered into unsecured first floor dormitory room and urinated inside a closet awakening the residents. When confronted by the residents as to his actions the subject stated, "I'm peeing in your closet. I'll be back tomorrow to clean the closet." Subject then left and was located inside a second floor dormitory room. During the investigation it was determined the subject was under the legal age of 21 years of age and had consumed several alcoholic beverages. Loss value undetermined at time of offense.
Colorado Building, 702 Colorado
Occurred on 8-30-02 at 3:00 a.m.
Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was discovered camping out in a restricted area reserved for faculty and staff members. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
E. P. Schoch Building, #6 East Mall
Occurred between 6-3-02 and 8-28-02.
Burglary: Five textbooks and workbooks were stolen from a secured desk located inside a secured fourth floor office. Loss value $105.00.
Experimental Science Building, 100 East 24th Street
Occurred between 8-28-02 5:00 p.m. and 8-29-02 at 9:30 a.m.
Theft: A black and grey Proxima LCD projector, model# 9270 was stolen from an unsecured third floor classroom. Loss value: $4,000.00.

Occurred on 8-29-02 at 7:45 a.m.
Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was observed by staff members on the first floor wandering the hall. Subject was located on the first floor and it was determined he was not a student, staff or faculty member. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Main Building, #1 South Mall
Occurred on 8-28-02 at 12:33 p.m.
Burglary: A non-UT subject was found going through the contents of a briefcase located inside an unsecured 19th floor office. Subject matches the description of a suspect involved in a theft out of the West Mall Office Building.
Parking Lot 99, 2000 Block Red River
Occurred on 8-28-02 at 3:15 p.m.
Suspicious Activity: A UT-student reported two unknown males were observed selling Digital Audio Speakers from the back of a 1999 or 2000 white Ford Expedition. The student reported he had purchased two speakers from the subjects and then discovered he had not purchased Digital Audio Speakers for $250.00, but an off brand with computer generated labels. First subject is described as: White male, 5'8", 180 lbs. with a long blond ponytail. The second subject was described as: Black male, 5'10", 175 lbs. with a fade hair cut.
Parking Lot 114, 2100 Block Leona Street
Occurred between 8-27-02 at 4:30 p.m. and 8-28-02 at 11:35 p.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The driver's side vent window of a red 1996 Jeep Cherokee was broken out. A tennis racket and checkbook had been left in plain view. An unknown subject was observed exiting the lot as a marked police unit patrolled the lot. Subject was described as: White male, late 20's, 5'10", 150 lbs, and last seen wearing a white short sleeve shirt and dark colored shorts. Subject was seen riding a mountain bicycle and carrying several cloth bags. Loss value: $100.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 8-29-02 at 3:50 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was located inside a restricted area. It was determined the subject had received prior written notice that this area was restricted to faculty, staff and students.
