Jester Store, 2000 Speedway
Occurred on 9-0-02 at 1:00 p.m.
Theft: A UT student used her UT identification card to purchase some items at the store on 9-3-02 at approximately 1:00 pm. At approximately 2:45 pm the student realized the UTID card was missing. A computer check found that someone had used the student UTID card to buy between five to six dollars worth of sodas at the Jester Store not long after she left the store.
Parking Lot 88, 400 East 23rd Street
Occurred on 9-3-02 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Theft of Motor Vehicle: A black over green EZ GO golf cart with a white plastic canopy was stolen from a grass median located in the central part of the Parking Lot. Loss value: $2,000.00.
Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street
Occurred between 8-29-02 at 4:00 p.m. and 8-30-02 at 11:58 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: The driver's side window was broken out of a gray Volvo. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. A white tank top shirt, which did not belong to the owner, was found on the driver's seat. Repair cost: $200.00.
Parlin Hall, #2 South Mall
Occurred between 8-30-02 at 11:00 p.m. and 9-3-02 at 11:30 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: A glass pane was broken out of a window in a first floor classroom. Repair cost: $75.00.
Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway
Occurred on 9-3-02 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Theft: A tan leather bifold wallet with forest green inside was stolen from a backpack while the owner was sitting next to it in an eight floor hallway or while she had it next to her while attending a class on the eight floor. Wallet contained forty dollars cash, assorted credit cards and identification.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Discovered on 9-3-02 at 10:32 p.m.
Graffiti: A black permanent felt marker was used to write satanic remarks on the seat of a wooden chair that was located in the Underground dining area. Removal cost: $50.00.
