Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 9-8-02 between 10:30 p.m. and 11:55 p.m.

Theft: A black "Fossil" wallet and a set of car keys were stolen from a locked locker located inside a second floor locker room. Wallet contained $50.00 and assorted identification and credit cards.

Hogg Memorial Auditorium, 2300 Whitis Avenue

Discovered on 9-7-02 at 11:52 p.m.

Graffiti: A stencil and yellow aerosol spray paint was used to paint a phrase on a concrete wall on the east corner of the building. Removal cost: $200.00.

Jester City Limits, Beauford H. Jester Center, 2001 Speedway

Occurred on 9-8-02 at 9:40 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A male non-UT subject approached a female UT student and asked to go to her room even though she did not know him. When she said no, subject moved closer and asked her again if he could go to her room. Subject had received a prior written criminal trespass warning.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred between 9-6-02 at 6:30 p.m. and 9-7-02 at 12:20 a.m.

Theft: A red and silver Mongoose XR100 bicycle was stolen from a bicycle rack while it was secured with a chain style lock. Loss value: $175.00.

Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 9-8-02 at 3:03 a.m.

Assault By Threat / Consumption of Alcohol by Minor: A male non-UT subject carried into the lobby a female UT student under the age of twenty-one because she was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she couldn't walk. When the non-UT subject was told he could not carry the student to her room, the subject threatened imminent bodily injury to a staff member. The student became unconscious due to alcohol poisoning and was transported by EMS to the hospital.

Lavaca Building, 220 West 7th Street

Occurred on 9-7-02 at 6:00 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found asleep on the west exterior walkway. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Garage 2, 2420 San Antonio

Occurred on 9-7-02 between 12:37 a.m. and 5:28 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: The wooden southeast exit control arm was broken when an unknown vehicle exited the garage. Repair cost: $350.00.

Parking Garage 2, 2420 San Antonio

Occurred on 9-9-02 at 12:20 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A UT student was found skateboarding on level one near the northeast entrance. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 22, 2400 Whitis Avenue

Discovered on 9-7-02 at 9:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: Approximately thirty feet of bricks on the top two layers of the brick wall on the west side of the Parking Lot had been knocked off resulting in bricks landing on both sides of the wall. Repair cost $600.00.

Parking Lot 108, 1500 Red River

Occurred on 9-8-02 at 3:00 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A witness observed a green 1996 Toyota RAV-4 strike the left rear quarter panel of 2001 silver Dodge pickup truck that was parked in the south portion of the Parking Lot. The Toyota, driven by a young female, left the scene without giving notice.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred between 9-6-02 at 11:00 a.m. and 9-8-02 at 11:10 p.m.

Theft: Cash was stolen from a first floor dormitory room located in the south tower. The cash had been hidden in two separate locations. The dormitory room was found unlocked on one occasion during the time the theft could have occurred. Loss value: $285.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred between 9-5-02 at 10:00 a.m. and 9-6-02 at 7:00 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: The wooden shutters on a window in a fourth floor meeting room were damaged when five slats were broken. Repair cost: $300.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 9-7-02.

Criminal Mischief: The glass was broken on the upper portion of the northeast exterior door that is the entrance to the Underground in stairwell #3. On 9-7-02 at 9:55 pm a witness heard the door glass breaking. A suspect, in the company of approximately six to seven other subjects, walked by witness. As the suspect approached the witness he stated "Woe! That was so cool!" Suspect was described as a Hispanic male, very young (possibly a freshman in high school), 5'4", 130 lbs with black hair. Subject was last seen wearing a baseball cap with a black visor on backwards, light colored shirt and dark pants. Witness stated the group the suspect was with looked like skateboarders. Repair cost: $ 75.00.

Occurred on 9-8-02 11:55 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found asleep in a third floor area that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 9-6-02 between 12:50 p.m. and 1:10 p.m.

Theft: A Nikon Coolpix digital camera in a black Lowpro nylon bag was stolen when it was left unattended in a second floor classroom. Loss value: $585.00.

Occurred on 9-6-02 at 5:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 2nd level area that was reserved for student, faculty and staff. Subject had received a prior written criminal trespass warning.
