Occurred on 9-16-02 at 8:20 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non UT subject was observed "hanging out" inside a third floor locker room after complaints were received of subjects "just hanging out" in both the locker room and sauna. Subject was issued a criminal trespass warning.

Benedict Hall, #7 South Mall

Discovered 9-16-02 at 6:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: A first floor window located on the north side of the building was discovered broken out. Repair value: $100.00.

Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building A, 2504-A Whitis Ave.

Occurred between 9-13-02 at 11:45 a.m. and 9-16-02 at 11:45 a.m.

Theft: A white Apple I-book laptop computer with a 14" screen was stolen from a secured fourth floor office. Loss value: $1,000.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 Block IH-35

Occurred on 9-17-02 between 2:50 a.m. and 3:15 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A black and silver CD player was stolen from a 1996 four-door Toyota that was parked in the northeast portion of the lot. The driver's side window was discovered broken out and the dash was broken in order to remove the CD player. Repair value: $500.00. Loss value: $150.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 Block IH-35

Occurred on 9-17-02 between 2:50 a.m. and 3:15 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A Kenwood AM/FM CD player, model KDC-215s with a black faceplate was stolen from a 1996 four door Jeep that was parked in the northeast portion of the lot. The driver's side vent window was broken out and the dash was broken in order to remove the AM/FM CD player. Repair value: $300.00. Loss value: $150.00.

Whitaker Fields, 5100 Block Guadalupe

Occurred on 9-16-02 at 7:15 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Failure to Identify / Disorderly Conduct-Abusive Language: A UT student walking her dog on the playing field in violation of Rec Sports regulations refused to leave the area after being asked to do so twice by Rec Sports personnel. Subject told Rec Sports personnel in graphic obscene language that she was refusing to leave the area. Upon the arrival of the UT police the subject initially denied being enrolled as a UT student and gave a false name and date of birth and continued to use obscene language towards the officer. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

2200 block Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred 9-14-02 at 9:04 p.m.

Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle: A UT student operating a black Jeep was stopped on numerous traffic violations. During the investigation a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on the subject's breath. An open 12 ounce can of beer was observed inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle.

2200 block San Jacinto, Waller Creek

Occurred on 9-16-02 at 10:05 p.m.

Suspicious Activity: Three UT students were located in the creek bed after one subject was overheard warning the others that, "The cops are in the creek."
