Theft: A Calculus textbook was stolen from a first floor computer room after being left unattended for 20 minutes. Loss value: $50.00.

Occurred on 9-17-02 between 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Theft: A tan nylon tool pouch containing various tools were stolen from an unsecured cart located on the first floor hall. Loss value: $150.00.

Parking Garage 1, 2401 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 9-18-02 at 3:20 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: A non-UT subject was observed attempting to follow a second vehicle through the east exit gate, causing damage to the control arm. Repair value: $182.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 9-18-02 between 10:00 a.m. and 7:05 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo was stolen from a white Jeep that was parked in the south portion of the lot. The driver's side vent window was broken out to allow entry into the vehicle. Repair value: $80.00. Loss value: $300.00.

Parking Lot 114, 2100 Block Leona Street

Occurred on 9-18-02.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A black CD case containing approx. 48 CD's of various country artists was stolen from a red Honda Civic after the driver's side window was broken out. Repair value: $150.00. Loss value: $110.00.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway

Occurred on 9-18-02 at 6:33 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Theft: A black Apple Powerbook G3 laptop was stolen from an unsecured 12th floor office. Loss value: $1,000.00.

Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street

Occurred on 9-18-02.

Theft: A silver Canon digital camera was stolen from a gym bag that was left unattended inside an unsecured fifth floor room. Loss value: $100.00.

1900 block Brazos

Occurred on 9-18-02 at 10:25 p.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A UT student was observed disregarding a traffic control device. It was determined the driver had an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant.

2100 block San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 9-18-02 at 5:42 p.m.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: A UT student was discovered under the 21st Street bridge after a strong odor of marijuana was detected above the bridge. Subject was found in possession of several pieces of drug paraphernalia.
